While we recognize that this is a virtual space, the artists and their artist work share a strong connection to Brampton. We would like to recognize that Brampton is on the traditional territory of the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation, who are the Treaty signatories of this land which is Treaty 19, the ‘Ajetance Purchase’ signed in 1818 , and is also the traditional homeland of the Wendat, Anishinaabe, and Haudenosaune Nations.
